The Silver Psychology Center was established in 1978 with the mission of providing high quality psychological services to Southwest Florida. Because psychological treatment often deals with sensitive issues, we have been very selective in signing preferred provider agreements, avoiding carriers we believe make unreasonable demands or attempt to compromise confidentiality.
Most of our treatment is problem-focused and short-term, but treatment may be extended when necessary. The majority of our patients come to us due to personal problems related to everyday stress, as well as family and marital problems and for children's learning and behavioral difficulties.
